BLEST HARBOR was inspired by a favorite hymn, Master, the Tempest is Raging. Most of us have suffered the wrath of the storm-tossed sea, or demons or men or whatever it be. Some of us have bowed in grief and cried out from the shadowy blackness, "Master, waken and save, I pray!"
I have felt His sweet, calm assurance... "Peace, be still," and with humility and gratitude, I have made the blest harbor and rested on the blissful shore. That great beacon in the billowing night, the everlasting light in the valleys of the shadows of death—the House of The Lord—is where we find His peace, and His rest.
I hope this print will awaken in you, as it has for me, a feeling of the very real power of temples.
